The MCA Placement Cell of the CUSAT facilitates on campus recruitment by giving a common platform to students seeking jobs. It invites companies related to finance, human resources, marketing and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process at CUSAT.

The Department of Computer Applications offers MCA and research programmes leading to PhD, sanctioned to the university by the UGC. Guest lectures, seminars by IT experts ,workshops and symposia are regular features of our department. The MCA programme is the most sought after course in CUSAT ever since its inception in 1994. |
The MCA course with an annual intake of 60 students provides sound theoretical foundations in Computer science coupled with practical laboratory assignments, which boost their caliber, enabling them to reach the frontiers of the software industry.
